If you can remember life before the internet…you likely went to high school when Auto Shop was still an elective. But much like home economics, for most schools auto shop has become a thing of the past. 

Fortunately, teacher Ron Grosinger, had a different vision. In 2008, he approached school administrators with an idea: What if, instead of teaching what might become an outmoded technology in the future, Grosinger instead taught students cutting-edge tech?

It was then that a new auto shop class—one designed for the 21st century was born. Now, Ron’s students are learning the latest in electric vehicle tech and converting gas guzzlers to all‑electric models.
