Carefree Coverage services
All new Volkswagen vehicles come with our Carefree Coverage package, which includes:
- 2 years of Carefree Maintenance—Covering your first two scheduled maintenance services. We recommend maintenance every 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever occurs first
- 3 years or 36,000 miles of Roadside Assistance (whichever occurs first)—available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- 4 years or 50,000 miles of New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage (whichever occurs first)—giving you peace of mind for the road ahead
- 8 years or 100,000 miles of High-Voltage Battery Limited Warranty (whichever occurs first) for electric vehicles (EV)—Keeping you going, mile after mile after mile
- Plus, you’ll get a bundle of connected vehicle services plans including:
• 3 years Remote Access plan—enabling you to use the myVW app for remote start (if equipped), lock/unlock commands, last parked location and more
• 3 years Safe & Secure plan—giving you access to emergency services such as Automatic Crash Notifications and Anti-Theft Alerts for help when you're on the road
Plan periods begin on original (new, unused) date of vehicle purchase. To enjoy your three-year Safe & Secure plan, you must accept the myVW+ Terms of Service during myVW sign up and activate the plan in the Shop tab of the myVW app.
Elevate your ownership experience with vehicle connectivity
myVW+ gives you access to Volkswagen’s connected vehicle service plans via your myVW mobile app, including remote vehicle commands, roadside call assist, advanced voice control, in-vehicle Wi-Fi and more. To activate myVW+, just accept the myVW+ Terms of Service when you sign up for your myVW account.
