Starting/Stopping the Ignition
The starter button is located on the center console, near the gear shifter.

To start the engine with the remote start function, if equipped, you must press the following buttons on the key fob within 5 seconds:

Available Onroad driving modes may include:

Custom - You can adapt the individual vehicle systems to your preferences.
Available Offroad driving modes may include:
Offroad - Allows better control of acceleration with the accelerator pedal when driving off-road. The engine's braking efficiency is always available, and shifting can be blocked in critical situations. Hill Decent Control is active, and the dynamic cornering light is adapted to better assist when visibility is poor.
Snow - Can improve traction on slippery or snowy ground.
Offroad Custom - An Offroad driving mode that can be adjusted according to your preferences.

Adjusting the Front Seats
Power Adjustments
Seat comfort can be precisely tailored to meet the needs of the driver, with a power adjustable driver seat, if equipped.
The driver seat will have a set of controls located on the sideboard of the seat.

- To adjust the tilt of the backrest, turn the handwheel with nothing resting on the backrest.
- Pull the lever under the seat to slide the seat forward or backward.
Always ensure the seat is locked into place after making a manual adjustment.

Espejos

Folding in the Side Mirrors
The mirrors can be manually folded against the vehicle and back out as needed. Take care when folding the mirrors to avoid pinching your fingers between the mirror and the mirror base, and never fold the mirrors if there are any obstacles in the way.

The auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, if equipped, contains two sensors to detect light. When the ignition is switched on, the sensors measure the amount of light entering from the front and rear of the vehicle. Depending on the measured values, the interior rearview mirror will dim automatically.

Sunroof & Sunshade Controls

The power tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof, if equipped, is controlled using the sunroof 
button on the overhead console. The sunroof and sunshade 
buttons have two "levels." To stop an operation at any time, press the same button used to begin the operation.

- Manual Operation: Press and hold either the back arrow or forward arrow to the first level until the sunshade reaches your preferred position.
- Automatic Operation: Briefly press either the back arrow or forward arrow to the second level to fully open or close the sunshade.

- Manual Tilt: Press and hold the front or rear of the sunroof button to the first level until the sunroof reaches your preferred position.

Wipers & Lights
Limpiaparabrisas

- Pull the lever toward you to use windshield washer fluid to clean the front windshield. Fluid will continue to flow and the wipers will continue operating until the lever is released.
To operate the rear window wiper/washer system:
- Push the lever away from you to the first level to activate interval wiping for the rear window. Pull it toward you to turn off rear interval wiping.
- Push the lever to the second level to use windshield washer fluid to clean the rear window. Fluid will continue to flow and the wipers will continue operating until the lever is released.

Exterior Lighting
Encender y apagar los faros

IMPORTANT: Within CAR > Vehicle settings > Lights is a section titled “Light Assist.” These settings refer to other assistive lighting features, not the Light Assist function.

Control de clima
Ajuste de la temperatura 
Ajusta la temperatura del conductor y del pasajero delantero según tus preferencias al tocar o deslizar el dedo hacia la izquierda y la derecha por los controles deslizantes de temperatura.

Para encender la calefacción del espejo exterior, gira la perilla de ajuste del espejo a . Esta función solo está disponible cuando la temperatura del aire exterior está por debajo de aproximadamente 68°F.
SYNC*

Buscando un destino
Press the NAV icon on the touchscreen to open the Navigation1 Home View. The Home View shows your current position in the middle of the screen as a cursor that is situated in relation to the actual position of the vehicle. It also shows up to five suggested destinations which are based off of your last destinations, predicted destinations, favorites, or imported destinations from your myVW app2. The Home View map is oriented with north at the top of the screen and the actual positions of the proposed destinations (0–5) are relative to the actual position of the vehicle.

Digital Cockpit

Personalizing the Infotainment System
Configurando el resumen de la aplicación

Si la fuente de audio conectada reproduce el sonido a un volumen demasiado bajo, aumenta el volumen de la fuente de audio externa. Si el audio sigue siendo demasiado bajo:

Establece el volumen de entrada en Medio o Máximo.

Connecting Your Phone
Bluetooth
Emparejamiento de un teléfono compatible

Simply pair your smartphone to your VW's Bluetooth® to start using compatible apps. Need to charge your phone while staying connected? Plug it into a USB port or place it on the wireless charger, if equipped, to enjoy both convenience and power on the go.

Charging Your Phone

With the wireless inductive charger, if equipped, you can charge your Qi-capable mobile phone without the need to plug in a cable. Simply place it securely in the center of the wireless charger in the center console with the display facing up. An alert in the Infotainment system indicates when charging begins.
Be sure not to place any objects besides your phone on the wireless charger.

Your vehicle features several USB Type-C charging ports. USB-C ports allow you to connect your mobile phone to your vehicle using the latest generation of USB. To utilize USB-C, you must have a compatible cable. Many devices today feature USB-C charging ports. However, if your phone's charging port is different, you can find a cable that adapts your phone's charging port to a USB-C connector by clicking here .

Some functions that the in-vehicle voice control system can perform are:

A variety of voice commands are available, depending on which language has been set in the Infotainment system and whether there is an active Premium Speech2 plan, which unlocks more voice control capabilities. For full details and a list of compatible languages, please refer to your Owner's Manual and our In-Vehicle Premium page.
A list of example voice commands can be found in your vehicle's Voice Control settings, as well as by accessing the "Help" menu in the Infotainment system and selecting Voice operation.

If voice control1 is equipped, initiating a voice command can be accomplished either by manually pressing the talk button on the multi-function steering wheel or by using the activation word, "Hello Volkswagen".

IQ.DRIVE Overview
IQ.DRIVE® is a driver assistance feature set designed to help make everyday driving more convenient and give added peace of mind. With a range of driver assistance features that work within system limitations, Volkswagen’s IQ.DRIVE® technology is meant to support you on the road and, in certain situations, may help mitigate the severity of a crash or even avoid one. IQ.DRIVE ® features and functionality may vary based on vehicle model, model year, and trim.
IQ.DRIVE® does not replace the driver and cannot overcome the laws of physics. Drivers should always remain attentive and in control of the vehicle.

System Limitations
In certain situations, driver assistance features may not engage or could trigger unwanted braking. While common examples are listed below, the full details about driver assistance functions and their limitations are available in the Owner’s Manual.
- Poor weather conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, ice, or fog.
- Unclear or missing lane markings, such as in construction zones or narrow curves.
- Blocked, damaged, or misaligned sensors due to things such as dirt, ice, leaves, or other external debris.
- A heavy trailer or cargo can change sensor angles and disable features.
- Sharp curves or steep slopes can cause lane centering or alerts to fail.
- Reduced visibility from environmental factors, such as glare
- Traffic detection limitations, meaning certain systems may only react to traffic traveling in the same direction.
- External interference from nearby ultrasonic sources or non-VW accessories.
Driver assistance features are not a substitute for attentive driving. See Owner’s Manual for further details and important limitations. System performance may be limited by weather, road conditions, and visibility. IQ.DRIVE® technologies cannot overcome the laws of physics or prevent all collisions.

Driver Assistance Systems Settings
You can access the driver assistance systems settings menu in the Infotainment system, allowing you to modify the operation of driver assistance features.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Assist Systems icon
. - Touch the image that represents the feature you'd like to modify.
OR: - Tap List or Settings (depending on your vehicle) to access a list of driver assistance system settings.
Depending on your vehicle, there may also be a button on the steering wheel, at the end of the turn signal stalk, or below the Infotainment screen.

IQ.DRIVE

This feature is not a substitute for attentive driving. ACC cannot bring vehicles with a manual transmission to a complete stop. See owner's manual for complete information and system limitations.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) helps maintain an individually stored constant speed and a previously set distance between your vehicle and those in front of you. When you approach a slower-moving vehicle in front of you, the vehicle may brake if the situation requires. When the vehicle is no longer present, ACC will accelerate back to the stored speed.

Activate Adaptive Cruise Control

Side Assist (Blind Spot Monitor)

The Side Assist (Blind Spot Monitor) system helps the driver by detecting traffic behavior beyond the vehicle.

Up to 4 devices can be supported using in-vehicle connectivity. 4G LTE coverage is not available in all areas. Use of Wi-Fi Hotspot requires trial or paid Wi-Fi plan from third party wireless data provider and is subject to the data provider’s customer agreement. If applicable, 30-day/1GB (whichever occurs first) hotspot trial begins on activation date. Limit one trial per vehicle. Paid subscription is required to continue Wi-Fi services after trial expires. Remote Functions
With the Remote Access1 and VW Vehicle Insights2 plans, you can access remote features from the Home tab of the myVW app3. Here, you'll be able to:
- View your vehicle's door and window status, estimated fuel level, and odometer4.
- Remote start your vehicle5, lock or unlock your doors6, and if you need some help finding your parked vehicle, you can honk the horn and/or flash your lights7, and find your vehicle's last parked location8.
- Set vehicle alerts to keep track of features like your vehicle's speed and location9.
- Check your driving data and potentially save more by signing up for available insurance discounts with DriveView10.
Remote Start Using the myVW App
Start your vehicle remotely5, if remote start is equipped, using the myVW app3. Here's how:
- Log in to the myVW app.
- From the home screen, select Remote Start.
- Tap Start.
- When prompted, confirm the vehicle location by entering your four-digit PIN.
• If enabled, iOS devices may use Face ID for authentication instead of entering the PIN. - A "success" message and countdown timer should appear on the home screen to indicate the vehicle has been started.
• If the remote start request is unsuccessful, a notification will appear and ask that you try again.
Bloquear/desbloquear con myvw app
Lock or unlock your vehicle doors6 from your myVW app3. Here's how:
- Log in to the myVW app.
- From the home screen, select Doors.
- Tap either Lock or Unlock.
- A "success" message appears on the home screen to indicate the doors have either locked or unlocked.
• If the lock or unlock request is unsuccessful, a notification will appear and ask that you try again.

• Honk & flash to flash the headlights and honk the horn. - A "success" message appears on the home screen to indicate that the "Flash lights" or the "Honk & flash" request was successful.
• If the "Flash lights" or "Honk & flash" request is unsuccessful, a notification will appear and ask that you try again.

Boundary Alerts9 lets you know when your vehicle enters or exits a designated area. Up to four boundary alerts can be set. Here's how:
- Log in to the myVW app3.
- From the home screen, select the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper right corner next to your vehicle's image.
- Choose Set up vehicle alerts from the dropdown menu.
- Choose Boundary.
- Select Create Boundary Alert and set your location either by clicking on the map or searching for a place in the search bar.
- Set the radius either by using the + button or by moving the slider to the right to increase the radius from 0-25 miles.

- Choose Set up vehicle alerts from the dropdown menu.
- Choose Curfew.
- Select Create Curfew Alert and in the next menu, customize the following settings:

Sistema de encendido/apagado
El sistema Start-Stop de arranque y detenimiento enciende y apaga automáticamente el motor al detenerse o cuando está estacionado, y cuando las condiciones del vehículo lo permiten. El motor se reinicia automáticamente cuando se suelta el freno o cuando el vehículo lo requiere.

Para desactivar temporalmente el sistema start-stop:
- Press the button near the gear selector lever. The button will illuminate when the start-stop system is deactivated.
- To reactivate start-stop, press the button again. It will also automatically reactivate the next time the engine is manually stopped and restarted, or if the Eco driving mode is selected.
