THE VOLKSWAGEN ULTIMATE SOCCER VEHICLE SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
1 NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. To enter the Volkswagen Ultimate Soccer Vehicle Sweepstakes (“the Sweepstakes”), complete the entry blank provided, print your name, email address, phone number, and age on a 3"x5" card, and deposit it at a participating Eurosport location, or register on vwjrmasters.com. Entries must be legible and completed in original handwritten or hand-printed form. Machine copies of completed entries will not be honored. Only one entry per person will be accepted. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of completion as planned, including by any reason of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond the control of Volkswagen of America, Inc. (“VwoA”), that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, VWoA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.
2 To be eligible, entries must be deposited or postmarked by December 15, 2009. VWoA and Eurosport are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or mutilated entries or for entries not forwarded from dealerships. All entries become the sole property of VWoA.
3 A winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about December 20, 2009, by VWoA from among all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by mail and provided with all the information required to claim a prize. The winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability within 15 days following notification. In the event of noncompliance within this time period, the prize will be forfeited. The winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitute permission to use their name, photograph, and likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion on behalf of VWoA and Eurosport without further compensation. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The prize will be awarded.
4 The prize. A one-year lease of a 2010 Routan SEL. The base MSRP for the 2010 Routan SEL is $33,600. The prize includes transportation, options, title, and dealer charges. Taxes are not included. The color and options are at the discretion of VWoA based on availability. The vehicle must be picked up at a local Volkswagen dealership.
5 The winner is responsible for registration and licensing fees and all federal, state, and local taxes. The prize is not transferable. An alternate prize or cash will not be offered in lieu of the described prize. The prize may vary from illustrations shown, due to model changes, availability, and other circumstances. The prize is individually warranted by the manufacturer and is not the responsibility of Eurosport.
6 Only licensed drivers 18 years of age or older who are residents of the US are eligible to enter. Employees, and their immediate families, of VWoA and Eurosport, Sweepstakes prize sponsors, and their authorized dealers, agencies, and subsidiaries are ineligible.
7 Geographic coverage is national. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
8 The Sweepstakes is operated by VWoA, which is solely responsible for its conduct, completion, and awarding of the prize. All decisions of VWoA on all matters relating to this promotion are final. Entrants agree that Eurosport, VWoA, and their agencies, authorized dealers, and employees shall not be liable for injuries or losses of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of the prize or parts thereof. The manufacturer’s express limited warranty on vehicles marketed by VWoA is not affected.
9 For the name of the Sweepstakes winner, available after December 20, 2009, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the Volkswagen Ultimate Soccer Vehicle Sweepstakes, Winner List, VW Events and Partnerships, 3390 Mary Street, Suite 300, Miami, FL 33133. The limit is one request per person. Requests must be received by December 31, 2009.
