Dual Exhaust Tips
They're a complement to the rear of your GTI. Or, maybe they're two complements
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Honeycomb Grille
The honeycomb pattern in the grille and bumper allows air to flow through more quickly in your GTI. This helps to keep the intercooler and front brakes nice and cool, which equals to even better performance.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Integrated Logo
To the untrained eye, it may seem like there is no trunk latch on the GTI at all. But, it's actually part of the shiny VW logo right in the middle of the hatch. It's fun to let friends figure that one out on their own.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Power Glass Sunroof
With more components like pinch protection, tilt function capabilities and a manual sunshade feature, the GTI Power Glass Sunroof offers much more than a simple style upgrade. And should a surprise shower appear just as you've stepped out of the car, a simple turn of the key in the door can close it from the outside. More more. It's what the people want.
Optional In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Power Windows
Every VW is equipped with power windows. It's not because we think you're lazy, it's because we think you deserve it. And they all have pinch protection, which helps reduce the risk of injury to a set of unsuspecting fingers when the windows are closing.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Red Brake Calipers
The brake calipers are painted with heat-resistant, bright red paint. They look good and they work even better.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
60/40 Rear Seat
You can fold down 60, 40 or 100 percent of the back seat flat. Why not 50/50? Because sometimes you need to use a little extra room for cargo without having to ask one of your friends to get out and walk.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door

Alloy Pedals
The aluminum pedals in your GTI were designed based on racecar technology. They've also got rubber grips to help keep you in complete control whether you're launching or cornering.

Auxiliary Input
This little hole makes your VW a lot cooler. The auxiliary input is located inside the glove box of your GTI. You can plug in your iPod® or even your guitar (if you got one during the First Act promotion) and listen to it through your GTI's stereo.

Multi-Function Indicator (MFI)
The Multi-Function Indicator is a trip computer that not only tells you things like outside temperature, engine temperature and how far you've traveled, it will even let you know how much farther you can travel based on the amount of fuel in the tank. Perfect for people who mix up their "E" and "F".
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Premium VII Stereo
The Premium VII Stereo has an in-dash 6-disc changer that is MP3 compatible and satellite ready too. Of course, there's a place for your iPod® to join in the fun too. Just plug it into the AUX jack located in the glove box.

Six on the floor. It doesn't rhyme, it performs.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Bi-Xenon™ Headlights
A headlamp system, standard on GTI, which shines brighter than halogen or normal filament bulbs. The light beam in a Bi-Xenon headlamp is created by an arc of electricity inside the light bulb filled with xenon gas. And, both the low and high beams use the same bulb. The figurative "good idea" light bulb.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
DSG® Transmission
It's a completely automatic transmission when you want it to be. But, it's also an F1 race-inspired transmission that shifts in just 2/10s of a second with the tap of a paddle when it's time to have some fun. And when equipped with launch control, simply put your DSG transmission in sport mode, press the ESP off button, keep your left foot on the brake, and then press the gas pedal to the floor. Take your foot off the brake. Blast off.
Standard In: Automatic only
-
Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP)
In conjunction with the ABS, ASR and EDL systems, plus additional sensors, the Electronic Stabilization Program helps the driver maintain their intended course during evasive maneuvering, like avoiding an accident, by applying brake pressure to specific wheels.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door

Launch Control
The fastest and most precise way of getting your V-dub from 0 to 60. Simply put your DSG® transmission in sport mode, press the ESP off button, keep your left foot on the brake, and then press the gas pedal to the floor. Take your foot off the brake. Blast off.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
ABS stands for the Anti-lock Brake System. It's an electronically regulated hydraulic braking system which helps prevent the vehicle from sliding under hard braking by preventing wheel lock-up. ABS, some say it means "Always Brake Safely."
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
-
Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR)
Anti-Slip Regulation helps prevent wheel slippage at all speeds and denies engine power in situations when wheel slip is detected. So, balance and equal traction are never compromised.*
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
*Obey all speed and traffic laws.
-
Height Adjustable Telescopic Steering wheel
If it's easier for you to reach everything, it's easier for you to drive more safely. This feature gives you a custom fit, while allowing the airbag* to be placed in the best possible position for you. Literally, and figuratively. Also, the steering column is designed to collapse like a telescope to help reduce impact on impact.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
*Airbags are supplemental restraints only and will not deploy under all crash circumstances. Always use safety belts and seat children only in the rear, using restraint systems appropriate for their size and age.
-
Six airbags
Airbags* are passive safety features that are found in every VW. They're activated in certain types of vehicle collisions when sensors trigger their deployment in just milliseconds. You can also choose to get your VW with two additional airbags for added safety. Safe Happens.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
A sensor built into the valve stem of each tire reads the air pressure, alerting you on your instrument panel when the pressure in one or more of your tires is too low. It only makes sense - properly inflated tires make the vehicle both safer and more fuel-efficient.
Standard In: 2-door and 4-door
