Exterior Signal Mirrors
The side view mirrors have the blinkers built right into them. This helps vehicles to the left or right of you know when you're turning or changing lanes much more easily. And as an added bonus, it's easier to spot when you've left your blinker on.

What good are washer nozzles if they are frozen closed? Your washer nozzles on your VW heat up to keep ice from forming over them.
Standard

Also, the steering column is designed to collapse like a telescope to help reduce impact on impact.

Six Airbags
Airbags* are passive safety features that are found in every VW. They're activated in certain types of vehicle collisions when sensors trigger their deployment in just milliseconds. You can also choose to get your VW with two additional airbags for added safety. Safe Happens.
