Nobody wants to think about what happens in the event of an accident. Except for our safety engineers. They made sure that the GTI has six airbags² standing guard to help keep you safe. In the event of a collision, your GTI deploys the necessary airbags to help cushion you and any other occupants of the vehicle and help absorb the energy and forces from the impact. So if you have a front-end collision, the front airbags may deploy. For a side impact, the side airbags and Side Curtain Protection may deploy. All depending on the severity of the impact. And all of that adds up to smarter, safer protection for you.
