Nobody wants to think about what happens in the event of a collision. Except for our safety engineers. They made sure that the Golf has six airbags standing guard to help keep you safer.² In the event of a collision, your Golf deploys the necessary airbags to help cushion you and any other occupants of the vehicle and help absorb the energy and forces from the impact. So if you have a front-end collision, the front airbags may deploy. For a side impact, the Side Curtain Protection® airbags may deploy. All depending on the type and severity of the impact. And all of that adds up to smarter, safer protection for you.
