What is DSG?

The DSG® technology is a groundbreaking “two-in-one” concept, totally unlike a conventional automatic transmission. Twin electronically controlled shafts manage gear selection, always anticipating your next shift. DSG is available in the Jetta TDI®, Jetta GLI, Jetta SportWagen TDI, Passat, CC¹, GTI, Golf TDI, and Eos models.

DSG gives you:

Fast, smooth gear changes at highway speed
Lively handling with unbroken acceleration
Faster shifting for better performance
Improved fuel economy on most models²
