The Most Frequently Asked Questions

To find a complete list of all the standard features on your VW, first choose your model and then click on Explore Trims. Once there, you'll find a list of standard features, along with downloadable specs.

You can view or download a brochure by choosing a model, scrolling down to the bottom, and then selecting Download brochure. Or go to the Models page, scroll down to the bottom, and find a link to the Volkswagen family brochure.

To go global, just look to the side of any vw.com page, click on More, then select Corporate. At the bottom of the page there is a worldwide link that will lead you to VW info for other countries.

We love sharing good news and we generally post new model-year information from late summer to early fall. But we also constantly update the site with all kinds of news, so check back frequently. It's a pretty big world, so only vehicles sold in the U.S. can be found on this site.

This site works in a whole new way to help you find a real car in real time. You start by selecting model, color, engine, features, and/or price. Then, the site goes about matching you to the perfect, individual VW that exists near your zip code. In other words, you’re not just creating your perfect car online, you’re actually locating it in real time. 

That’s the idea. When you select a combination of model, color, price, engine, or features, the site works to match you to an actual VW that exists near your zip code. If matches can only be found farther away, you can search using other zip codes or you can ask a dealer to help you locate the VW of your choice.

Good question. The site works in real time with real inventory. So, if you search after inventory has moved off the lot (a car being sold, for example), your results will be different. But you can always contact your local dealer for assistance in locating the VW you are looking for.

Easy. Just click on Find a Dealer in the main navigation. Enter your zip code and you’ll be in touch in no time.

By all means, share the good news about finding your VW. Click on the Share Button on the top of the page, then select the platform you wish to use, which includes Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and email. You can also send a pic of your VW pick to your mobile phone. Just go to the bottom of the car profile page and click Send to Phone.

It’s safe and sound. Your favorites are stored in your web browser’s cookies. So make sure you accept cookies and your favorites will appear in the Favorites navigation on the left side.

Vehicle Pricing and Purchasing FAQs

You can find prices for actual vehicles by using “Find a Match.” The vehicles that match your search are real and so is the price, which includes all port- or factory-installed accessories. The price shown does not include tax, delivery, dealer fees, or other applicable charges. It also does not include dealer-installed accessories and special offers from the dealer. For those special offers, you’ll want to check the dealer site or contact the dealer directly.

We’ve got something for everyone. Just look to the left for the More button, click it, then hit Special Offers. You’ll find VW incentives, rebates, and sales promos here, but you won’t find special dealer-specific offers. So check the dealer site or contact the dealer directly for any additional special offers they may have for you, too. You can also link to the dealer website via the dealer locator.

There’s no need to check inventory when you can find your actual VW.  Just use "Find a Match" to search among cars at dealerships. You choose your specs and the search area, we do the rest. Need to know more? Just ask – the dealership will be happy to help.  

Unfortunately, we don’t offer factory-direct ordering. Besides, our dealers are people persons. So stop by and speak to your local dealer. They can give you inside information you won’t find anywhere else. Plus, you’ll probably want to go for a test drive once you find the VW that speaks to you. 

You bet. In fact, the dealer may even have special offers available not mentioned online. All VW dealerships are independently owned, so pricing will vary. What’s listed here are MSRPs.

All 2014 Volkswagen vehicles feature no-charge scheduled maintenance for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. So things like oil changes, tire rotations, and more are all included. For anything beyond this period, labor rates will vary because VW dealerships are independently owned and operated.
